Not what you expected?
Jesus was not what people expected. They’d spent their lives waiting for the Messiah – God’s anointed king – to come. When he did, they found themselves constantly having to recalibrate their expectations.
His miracles, his teaching; so much more than they were prepared for. Then the cross; no one expected that. Jesus surprised and Jesus shocked.
Have you ever thought about Jesus? Do you have ideas of what he’s like? Have you ever looked at the Bible to see what it says?
Why not join us on Sunday 22nd November at 10:30am as we look at Jesus together and see the King no one expected!
